Ron Clinedinst
Mr. Clinedinst is the Owner and Founder of Central Virginia Emergency and Disaster Management Services, LLC. He is the former Executive Director/Healthcare Regional Coordinator for the Northwest Region Healthcare Coalition where he also worked as the Regional Hospital Coordination Center Manager. Prior to that he was the Environment of Care Coordinator for Augusta Health where he was responsible for safety and emergency management. He served over 23 years on active duty in the Army where he worked in varying positions of responsibility gaining experience in contingency preparedness including numerous overseas deployments.
His credentials include a bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and a master’s degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional (CHEP) through the International Board for Certification Services and Management, Level – III certification as a Healthcare Emergency Coordinator (CHEC), completion of the Emergency Management Institute’s Professional Development Series, the National Emergency Management Basic and the National Emergency Management Advanced Academies. He is an active instructor with the National Disaster Life Support Foundation teaching the Basic (BDLS) and Advanced Disaster Life Support (ADLS) courses, the hospital decontamination course, and the Certified Healthcare Emergency Coordinator (CHEC) course.
